In this series, Euronovia is happy to present its 5 new projects starting in 2024!
INVEST’HER is a collaborative project funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe “European Innovation Ecosystems” (EIE) programme. The project will last 24 months (March 2024 – February 2026) and held its kick-off meeting on 7 March in Sofia, Bulgaria.
INVEST’HER aims to foster knowledge-sharing and synergies between gender-conscious innovation stakeholders (e.g., policy and decision-makers, capital providers, business acceleration providers) in order to support the next generation of women-led startups and companies. The project will lead to the identification of best practices, the organisation of capacity-building activities, and the definition of guidelines. Additionally, the project aims to transform less connected territories into recognised and attractive innovation hubs, create bridges between EU innovation ecosystems to increase access to capital, raise the number of gender-conscious investors to support women-led companies, and boost women entrepreneurship.
The INVEST’HER project is coordinated by the company The Edge (Bulgaria) and gathers 9 other partners from 7 countries (Slovakia, Sweden, France, Portugal, Ireland, Greece, and Denmark).
It has a budget of 999 989.75 EUR financed by the European Commission.
