Looking back at 2019: the best of Euronovia!

As 2019 is coming to an end, let’s have a look on some of Euronovia’s achievements over the last 12 months: two new Horizon 2020 projects, recruitments, new partnerships… and great successes for EU projects in response to calls for proposals. Check out our highlights of the year!

2 new Horizon 2020 projects

Since 1 January 2019, Euronovia is partner in two new H2020 projects for communication activities and exploitation of results: ESTEEM3 and SFERA-III. Both projects aim at facilitating transnational access to research infrastructures, respectively:

  • in the field of transmission electron microscopy,
  • in concentrated solar power.

All our H2020 projects can be found here.

Datadock

Since October 2019, Euronovia has been listed in DataDock, the French database of training organisations. Our tailor-made training courses on EU projects and programmes can now be covered by funding organisations.

The European Working Group of Innovation consultants

As director and coordinator of the Collaborative Projects Commission of the Association of Innovation Consultants (ACI), Euronovia actively contributed to the creation of the European Working Group of Innovation Consultants (EWGIC). This new initiative was launched in the contact of the R&I Days, with the Manifesto to support professional project management in Horizon Europe. As of today, the Manifesto, which gathered great interest from consultants in EU affaires, has reached its 100th signature. The Working Group meets every month to discuss concrete issues related to innovation consultancy at European level.

More information about the Working Group, here.

New partnerships

In 2019, Euronovia continued to expand its network of partners. We are now members of the French National Association for Research and Technology and the International Solar Energy Society (ISES). Moreover, we are also partners of Adrenaline, a new accelerator for health innovative projects.

The list of our partners can be found here.

Three new colleagues!

Our team grew with the recruitment of Lucie Guilloteau, Consultant in EU funds. This former project officer at Paris Descartes University is expert in Horizon 2020 collaborative projects, especially Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions and the European Research Council grants. On top of writing EU proposals, she is also in charge of the management and communication activities of our ESSIAL and ESTEEM3 projects.

Moreover, two junior consultants in apprenticeship also joined Euronovia: Camélia Benhida and Sarah Rossman. And we foresee the recruitment of further collaborators in 2020!

Our entire (dream) team here.

A new office in the South of France

Euronovia has opened a new office in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region: Simon Nardin, our consultant in innovation funding, left Paris for Aix-en-Provence. For us, it is a great opportunity to develop our activity in a very dynamic region for innovative projects!

Successful projects

Among our greatest achievements this year, we supported successful EU projects, such as:

  • INNOVEOX and FLOAWER, Marie Skłodowska-Curie Training Networks (H2020)
  • HAP2, Health collaborative project (H2020)
  • Ephaïstos and ZETAMIX, EIC Accelerator (H2020)
  • DENSYS, Joint Master Degree (Erasmus+)
  • EU-CONEXUS, European University (Erasmus+)

In conclusion, we wish you an excellent year 2020! On our part, we will continue to support your organisation in the success of your EU projects. Let’s keep in touch!
