The EU funded project FLOATECH, in which Euronovia is a partner, is organising a joint side-event during alongside the ITN project, FLOAWER during the morning of the 6th of April at WindEurope 2022.
As one of the nine partners working on this three-year long project and as the leader of the Communication and Dissemination Work Package, Euronovia is in charge of the organisation of the events that helps the project to reach their target audience during specialised events or more general ones. For this special one the aim was to bring together two different sectors working on the field of Floating Offshore Wind.
Under the theme “Academia and industry: Synergies to boost floating wind”, the event aims to showcase how academia and industry collaborate in order to help the floating wind sector move faster and safer towards commercial deployment.
The event will start with a brief introduction to both research projects, followed by approximately 1.5 hours of presentations from project partners. The presentation session will be followed by a panel discussion on the future of floating wind in academia and industry. To conclude the day, all participants will be invited to a networking cocktail.
